Risks and potential complications are associated with alternative forms of treatment that require surgery, such as septum plasty, to correct abnormalities of the nasal airway.
The initial surgery is critical to achieve lasting and aesthetically pleasing result, as the tissues are not distorted by previous surgery. One must be careful in the process, with a few millimeters can cause changes with dramatic consequences.
