Liposculpture or liposuction

Liposculpture or liposuction is a surgical procedure used to model the body contour by removing subcutaneous fat located in different areas treated and that is done with a suction unit called liposuccionator. This procedure will be performed in patients who have localized or widespread deformities in different areas of the body due to deposition or accumulation of fat and does not apply in cases where there is muscle hypertrophy (thickened muscles).

The lipo-injection is a surgical technique for grafting patient's own tissue in certain areas of the body, including lips, face and neck, arms, trunk, abdomen, buttocks, hips and thighs, knees, calves and ankles. The lipo-injection allows to be performed as a primary procedure to improve the body contour by aspirate body fat material, or in combination with other surgical techniques such as facelift, tummy tuck, thigh lift or to tighten the skin and relaxed supporting structures.

The best candidate for lipo-injection is relatively normal guy who has a deficit of fat in certain areas of the body. A firm and elastic skin leads to better final contour after the lipo-injection. Sagging skin not readjusts itself to new contours, and may require additional surgical techniques to remove and tighten excess skin. Body contour irregularities due to different structures of fat may also be enhanced with lipo-injection, such as muscle ruptures. The lipo-injection and liposuction alone does not improve the areas of irregular skin known as cellulite.
