Breast augmentation is a surgical operation to increase breast size, for a number of reasons:
The shape and size of the breasts prior to surgery may influence both the recommended and the treatment outcome. If the breasts are not the same size or shape before surgery, it is unlikely to be completely symmetrical afterward. There are several types of implants: silicone gel-filled, filled with saline, smooth surface, textured, round or anatomical shape, etc.; you should discuss with her the most suitable for each individual case plastic surgeon.
Increased breast is achieved by implanting a prosthesis either behind the breast tissue or under the chest muscles. Incisions are blended so that the resulting scars as invisible as possible, usually around the lower part of the areola or beneath the breast or armpit. The method of implementation and the position of the prosthesis will depend on your preferences, your anatomy and your surgeon's recommendation.
Breast augmentation is an elective surgery. The alternative would be to not carry out the intervention, the use of an external breast prostheses or padding, or the transfer of other body tissues to increase breast size.
Women who possess large breasts may experience a number of problems arising from the weight and size of the breasts, such as back pain, neck and shoulder, and skin irritation. Breast reduction is usually done to enhance these symptoms rather than to improve the appearance of the breasts. The best candidates are women mature enough to understand the procedure and have realistic expectations about the outcome. There are several different surgical techniques used to cut and shape the breasts. There are both risks and complications associated with breast reduction.
Breast reduction surgery is an elective. Alternative treatment would consist of not carrying out the intervention, physical therapy to treat pain, or the use of undergarments to support large breasts. In selected patients it has used liposuction to reduce breast size. There are risks and potential complications are associated with alternative surgical forms of treatment.
Lifting, mastopexy or breast lift is an elective surgical intervention to raise ptotic breasts or falls, for a number of reasons:
The shape and size of the breasts prior to surgery may influence both the recommended and the treatment outcome If the breasts are not the same size or shape before surgery, it is unlikely to be completely symmetrical afterward.
The intervention is to restore the filling of the breast by repositioning the mammary tissues that have fallen and accommodate the excess skin by lifting plasty nipple-areola complex.
The incisions for breast lift and carry out the reduction of excess breast tissue, are made so that the resulting scars inconspicuous and remain hidden, usually below the breast vertically, around the areola and occasionally the groove under the breast.
Alternative treatment would consist of not carrying out the intervention and or use of undergarments to lift sagging breasts. There are risks and potential complications are associated with alternative surgical forms of treatment.
