Breast augmentation

 

Breast augmentation is a surgical operation to increase breast size, for a number of reasons:

Mastopexy

 

Lifting, mastopexy or breast lift is an elective surgical intervention to raise ptotic breasts or falls, for a number of reasons:

 

• To enhance the body contour of women, which has a ptotic breast or fall.

• To correct a loss in breast volume after pregnancy.

• To balance the size and shape of the breasts, when there is a significant difference between them.

• As a reconstructive technique in certain situations.

The intervention is to restore the filling of the breast by repositioning the mammary tissues that have fallen and accommodate the excess skin by lifting plasty nipple-areola complex.
